The Academy Standard is a coaching group for martial arts school owners who want every class, every conversation, and every milestone to feel premium, no matter who is teaching that night. You build the standard behind the experience, and the rest of the business follows it.
The first cohort is capped at twelve schools. Tell us about your school and pick a time.
You are not short on skill or students. What is missing is an experience that matches the quality of your teaching, every class, for every family.

Your class is excellent. The one before it might not be. Families notice the difference before you do.
You teach something far better than the school down the street. But a family visiting both cannot see the difference, because nothing in their first ten minutes shows it.
The front desk, the first lesson, the follow up call, the belt ceremony. Each one is done a little differently every time, and each one is part of what a family experiences.
When you want something done right, you do it yourself. Every new class and every new instructor lands on your shoulders, so the experience can only grow as fast as you can.
Most owners know the moment. A new family walks in, and you wonder whether the next ten minutes will show them what your school can really be. Underneath it is the same quiet worry: that the experience lives in your head, and nowhere else.

When nothing is written down, every instructor makes it up. A school that changes depending on who is teaching cannot deliver a premium experience, because the experience is different every night.
The villain is never bad instructors or lazy staff. It is the absence of a standard, which forces good people to make it up, and guarantees a different class every night.
A premium experience is not one great night. It is the same great night, every night.

Every class at my school used to depend on me being on the floor. Building a standard is what changed that, and it made every class better, not just mine.
Bronson Ko began training at three years old under his father, a grandmaster from South Korea, and has been teaching for more than 25 years. He founded Ko Martial Arts (KOMA) at 23, more than 20 years ago, and now runs three locations in the Kansas City area, in Overland Park, Olathe, and Prairie Village.
Today every class at KOMA is taught to the same standard, whether he leads it or one of the instructors he trained does. He still teaches. The difference is that the quality no longer depends on which night a family walks in, and that only happened once the standard existed. That change is the entire argument for this program.
Families choose KOMA for what they can see on the floor in the first ten minutes: structure, character, and instructors who teach the same way every night. The experience is the reason they come, and the reason they stay.
He wrote The MENTOR Method to put the teaching standard on paper, so it could be handed to an instructor instead of absorbed by osmosis over three years. He is not offering theory. He is offering the thing he had to build twice: once by trial and error, and once on purpose.
Everything we work on in the room falls under one of these. We take them in order, because each one leans on the one before it.

What a family actually meets: the class, the curriculum, the room they walk into, the front desk, the events. This is the product. Everything else exists to protect it.
How families find you, decide, and stay. The intro lesson, the renewal conversation, the follow up nobody makes, and the reputation that arrives before you do.
The layer underneath: your staff, your schedule, your numbers, and the systems written down well enough that the experience holds no matter who is on the floor.
Answer a few questions about your school, then pick a time. No payment and no commitment.
A straight conversation about your school, your floor, and what families experience today. If it is a fit, you hear the start date and next steps on the call.
Live virtual sessions with Bronson on an ongoing membership. You take the three standards in order, about one a month, so the first is running on your floor before the next one starts. You leave every call with something you can use that week.
This is a coaching group, not a course you log into and forget. Here is what a seat actually gets you.

Ongoing virtual sessions, not a library of recordings. You bring your school and what is happening on your floor, and you get answers on the call.
About one a month. The first one is running on your floor before the next one starts, so nothing stacks up half finished.
Every call ends with one thing you take back to the mat. Nothing here stays theory until the next session.
One to three locations, already good at teaching, ready to give families something they cannot find anywhere else. You stop working on this alone.
Everything taught in the room has survived three real schools with real families and real payroll before it reaches you.
You keep your curriculum, your brand, and your name on the building. This is the operating layer underneath it, not a replacement for it.
The first cohort is capped at twelve schools. Tell us about your school and pick a time.

From a school families compare, to a school families choose.
Not on day one. The work starts with the experience: what a family sees, hears, and feels in your school. Pricing becomes an easier conversation once there is something on the floor a parent can point at.
Only when you want to, and only once there is something to step back into. We do not ask you to hand off classes before the standard exists. Build it first, then decide which nights are yours.
No. You keep your curriculum, your rank structure, your brand, and your school. This is the operating layer underneath what you already teach, not a replacement for it.
You bring what is happening on your floor that week. We work it against whichever of the three standards it belongs to. You leave with something you can run in class before the next call, not a recording to watch later.
Nothing gets taught that has not already survived three real schools with real families and real instructors. If it only works on paper, it does not make it into the room.
Owners of one to three schools who are already good at teaching and want every family to feel it. If you want a premium experience that does not depend on you being in every class, this is the room.
Anyone looking for a shortcut to higher tuition without improving what families experience, and anyone who wants out of teaching altogether. This is for owners who intend to keep building their school.
Founding members pay $900 a month, locked in for as long as you stay. That rate is for the first twelve schools; after that it is $1,200 a month. Two live group calls a month, no long term contract. The call with Bronson costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Not today. This is group coaching, and your school stays entirely your own. Licensing may come later, and if it does, this room hears about it first.
It is built for owners who want to raise the experience, not just the rate. One to three locations. Already the best instructor in the building. Ready for every class to feel like their best one.
If that is your school, book a call. You will talk with Bronson before anyone asks you to commit to anything.
The coaching group comes first. These follow, and the reserve list hears about each one before anyone else does.
For owners who want the standards in hand before they join a group. Details to come.
Small rooms of owners, working on one standard at a time. Details to come.
A way to show families and staff that every class meets the standard. Details to come.

Leave your name and email and you will hear first about future cohorts, the online course, in person workshops, and certification.
The first cohort is capped at 12 schools. If you want a seat in it, book a call above.
